How it Calculates the Cost of Home Staging

Estimating Costs

The home staging calculator provides an estimated price based on median data for actual home staging quotes as provided to the clients of Urban Presentations. For a more accurate price for home staging, please contact a home stager to arrange a free consultation .Every time Urban Presentations prepares a quotation for a client, they input the data into their database and then shares it to Home Staging community around the world. Over time, this information provides clients with a good estimate as to the anticipated prices for staging services.

The calculator has been prepared for this firm’s own use, use by its clients (in Vancouver, BC), and use by Realtors who wish to provide their clients with home staging services.

Room Sizes

Room size definitions are relative and approximate. For the purposes of this home staging calculator, small refers to an apartment or condo-sized room. Medium refers to room sizes in an average-sized single family home with a total floor area of approx. 2000 to 4000 sq. ft. Large refers to an executive home or larger, approx. 6000 sq. ft. or larger total area.

Room Types

If you use the Home Staging Calculator, it is important that you only select the rooms in your house that you would like to have staged.  It is not generally necessary to stage every room in your house, especially if it is large.  If you are unsure of which rooms to stage, don’t worry… your professional home stager knows just exactly what to do.

Vacant vs Furnished Homes

Staging for vacant properties will include the costs associated with renting furniture, including the furniture and its delivery, and the services of the stager to select and install the furnishings. If your home is furnished, a stager can often use what you have and make the home look great by editing and redesigning your own possessions. When data is input initially,  all of these variables are factored into the mix.
